Successful train the Procurers training takes place in Maribor

The second training for public procurers was organized by Umanotera in Maribor on 6 November. 16 applicants attended it. The training has been set as interactive course which required partaking from all participants through the day. The training was held by Vida Ogorelec, Alenka Burja and Nina Tome from Umanotera and Matjaž Uhan from Ministry of the Finance.

After a short presentation of the project GPP 2020, the first morning session started with the SWOT analysis about the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the GPP. Afterwards presentation was given on the EU GPP policy and GPP criteria development, its benefits, relations to other policies etc. The next large part was dedicated to the mapping of the environmental impacts of three products groups: paper, vehicles and buildings. After this, presentation on calculation of the savings with GPP tenders was given with real example. The whole afternoon session was devoted to work in groups on concrete examples on GPP tenders.

Attendees evaluated the training with high marks. From evaluation it is evident that the training was very valuable to them and their work in the field of GPP.
